So I watched your other video on oiling and it was very helpful thanks! I know have a problem of it making holes in fabric but not stitching. I have tried everything but adjusting the hook timing. I noticed in this video that you are threading the needle at the left , I thought the flat side of needle is at back of machine. Am I placing my needle the wrong way?

Hello i recently got a kenmore 148.230 And i cant get my bottom thread to work. :( Not sure what im doing wrong. Im sewing vinyl btw

Most likely the face plate is not tightened down.
