I love this video. In reporting and analytics tools we are used to use these gauges. But seeing and understanding a physical thing that to a reusable component for multiple purposes is really an awesome thing. This is the very first video I saw after many years of my engineering classes. Love ya sir. :-)

Would it be better to use a gauge that ranged from 0 to 100 instead of over 220 psi? Seems it would be easier to read and maybe more accurate.
@AmplifyDIY4 жыл бұрын
Depends on what you are measuring, of course. I sometimes need to measure up to 175 psi for various projects, so this gauge is great for me. One with a smaller range would be easier to read if you don’t need to measure such a wide range. Thanks for watching, and great question!

Can we apply this methods to Oxygen pressure gauge to check the water pressure?
@diverdon184Ай бұрын
Does it matter that water is incompressible but air is compressible when using the same gauge to compare pressures like in your expansion tank replacement video? Sorry if this has already been addressed in these comments.
@AmplifyDIYАй бұрын
It does not seem to matter with this gauge. Great question!

line pressure is around 14 to 26 kg/cm2 . So what range of Pressure Gauge should I Put It on the line? Is there any formua to select ?

I have watched your 4th great water heater videos of yours tonight... I have a dial air compressor gauge.. Are you stating it will test water pressure also with correct adapter? I assumed it would get water in tire pressure gauge...
@AmplifyDIY4 жыл бұрын
The gauge I demonstrated in this video seems to have no problem measuring both.

Can uu plss also teach how yo measure water pressure with Tyre pressure gauge .. please please pleaseee it's important for me a lot
@AmplifyDIY Жыл бұрын
Gauges that are designed for measuring air pressure will have a bad time if you try to measure water pressure. You need to get your hands on the right kind of gauge. I have links in the video description to the gauge I used here. Good luck!

Just keep in mind… quick disconnects usually have air leaks… thus giving you a false readings…. I rather buy 2 good quality separate gauges, (one for water & one for air)…they’re not that expensive

With the right connectors could this setup measure the fuel pressure in an oil boiler?

My dual pressure gauge is not working for water. The pressure gauge adapter hole is tiny like a pin hole. Do i have to change that to an adapter with a larger hole?
@AmplifyDIY3 жыл бұрын
Hmm... I'm not sure. What kinds of readings are you getting when measuring water? Anything at all? Are the measurements just off (too low, too high)?
@Josh-mh3kl3 жыл бұрын
@@AmplifyDIY thanks for the reply, but I purchased a the wrong gauge. The readings start at 0-4000 psi. For pressure washers not faucet pressure. Heading back to Princess auto

I have a very crazy question. Hoe do I use this setup to measure the steam coming from my high pressure steam cleaner? It was advertised to produce 3.5 BAR (≈50 psi), but I don't think it goes up that far. the problem being that the spray nozzle doesn't have a screw fitting, so how would I do this?
@AmplifyDIY4 жыл бұрын
That’s a tricky one! You’ll have to find some way to get an airtight seal between the steam cleaner and a gauge. Perhaps it’s time for a creative trip to the plumbing aisle at your local home improvement store?
