This was excellent. I plan to let my husband watch this. Our knives are always dull and he tries with this electric sharpner, also this cross type thing. Had a whet stone years ago but did not work right. As I watched this I can remember my Father on the farm using a whet stone to sharpen Mom's knives and I believe he may have put some type of oil on the whet stone when sharpening. But thank you so much for this, truly appreciate it. Nice to meet your husband too. Claudia

There are lot of angle wedges in that box. How do you know what angle to use with different knives?

Roger: rules-of-thumb - western knives/20-21 degrees. The others I have no use for.
