If ants are gravitating more towards proteins we would recommend using a bait granule such as Maxforce Complete or Advance 375A. These are protein-based baits and meant to attract ants when they are seeking proteins.

The Advion Roach Bait Gel and the Advion Ant Bait Gel both have the same active ingredient but the inert ingredients are different and are designed to attract either roaches or ants only. They would not be interchangeable for either pest. Yes, Advion Ant Bait Gel is safe for humans to use as it poses no harm when it is applied as directed.

It can take up to 30-90 days to completely eliminate ants depending on the size of the colony and number of colonies you are dealing with. You want to replenish bait as needed as long as you see activity.

why it's not working for fire ants? The trap didn't work on the fire ants. They ate the bait once and a few died around the bait , but then they stopped going near it.

There could be several reasons the Advion Ant Gel is not working on the fire ants. Depending on your location, they could have stopped foraging, meaning they are no longer actively looking for food. One way to test this is to set out a potato chip along with some sugary-based drink, like Gatorade, and see if they are going to either.
