I 100% agree with your take here: the goal of calendar automation or intelligence should not be to fill your calendar up to the point where you're overwhelmed or where you're attacking an endless backlog. We really designed Reclaim with the goal of "get a little bit of time every day in between your meetings and commitments to focus on your top 3-5 priorities for the week", which is why we also encourage users to (for example) not have more than 3-5 Habits or Tasks active at a time on a given week. Not only does it create more noise for you to manage, it also doesn't really reflect one of the primary outcomes of time blocking: focused, purposeful work.
