I rarely comment, but this was very well presented. Your explanations were simple to grasp, and just as importantly, the ejemplos used words that a beginner would likely already know.

when would you use unos/unas instead of algunos/algunas?
@TheSpanishLearningClub Жыл бұрын
Great question! 👍Many times they could be interchangeable, specially in casual/informal conversations. However, if you want to be more strict with grammar rules and speak more professionally (maybe even better than many native speakers), you can use "Unos" and "unas" to describe an unspecified quantity without a group of reference. "Algunos" and "Algunas" will also describe an unspecified quantity but usually you can imply a group of reference. For instance: - Ayer compré unos libros en la tienda. ➡️ I'm not specifying how many books. I'm not mentioning any reference either. They could be any book that you can find in a store. - Ayer vi algunos estudiantes de tu clase en la biblioteca. ➡️ I'm not specifying how many students. However, when I say "de tu clase", I am giving you a reference. They couldn't be any student in the world. They will have to be some students from your class. The difference is very thin! Now, you may be thinking: Can I say "Ayer compré algunos libros en la tienda"? ... and the answer is Yes, you can! People will understand you... but, again, if you want to be strict ... I hope this helps! Muchas gracias por mirar el video! 🙂👍

Good question! "Un poco de" would be very similar to "Algo de". 😃 - Un poco de comida - Algo de comida 😋

algo es aqui. algo de agua. alguien es en el bano. yo quiero alguno de manzanas. does algún mean some?? algún tomatoes?
@TheSpanishLearningClub9 ай бұрын
*Algo está aquí. *Alguien está en el baño. *Algo de manzanas *Algún is singular. It refers to only one thing. It can't mean "some". Algún refers to one thing/unit without specifications. Muchas gracias por mirar mis videos! 🙂👍
