When you guys buy the converter there's a Stereo and Mono version. Mono has the same sound on both ears, while Stereo has different sounds on each ear. Stereo is my personal preference. If you get the Stereo version, it isn't color coded so I just watched an audio test video on my PS3 on youtube to test out the sound coming from the left and right side of headset.

This worked, thank you. At first dialogue lines were really quiet but all I had to do was slightly adjust the positioning of my headphone jack plugged inside the adapter that I bought off eBay and audio came through perfectly.

kurdsh security You can’t talk to anyone using this method. This method is only for getting sound into your headphones, the microphone won’t work this way.

Years ago, in my case it works with PS2 with such kind of splitter (stereo one). A small drawback - the sound volume in the headphones may be lower than you would like.

The problem is from the cable itself I think I don't know which cable, but try ur headphone with another think, smartphone for example. If the problem still occurs, well.......ur headphone is the problem. But if it sounds fine, then the problem is from the composite cable (that 3 colors cable). Just buy another one, it's not that expensive Sorry for bad english tho, I just want try to help u

I don't know which cable but, try your headphone with a different jack. Smartphone, Apple, etc) And if the same thing happens you may need some new headphones. But if it sounds fine and all than the problem is your composite cable (The thing he had at 1:18). Just buy a new one. It's not that expensive thankfully. PS. The sound only comes out from the left earphone I check the cable again and I found out that, I didn't plugged the headphone jack to that adapter all the way in. After I plugged it in all the way in, everything works fine

Only issue is sound will be really low,unless your headphones have some kind of amplifier,you will have to buy one and plug it in and use it's output for headphones,at least that's how the sounds is for me used same setup as guy here on monitor,then i switch to tv,at least my TV has headphones volume that i can increase :/

Well some games have volume settings, so that can be useful. Some headsets/earbuds also have a volume slider, you can use that as well. Not totally pointless.
