If you have the money and never owned an ipad before, go for the M4, If you are on a budget, get the Air, If you like samsumg, get the tab s9+ or a used tab s8+ for a tighter budget Ipad is better as it has better apps, better optimization, long-term support. My friend has a 1st Gen ipad Pro from 2017, and he has ipad os 17.5.

ipad are always a better choice when comes to all the features or apps for note taking, digital art or productivity case. If you can't afford an ipad air,,, go for samsung s̤7fe or s9fe . Else ipads are best for notetaking
