Ok so I emailed Aisha to get some of her mums bokhoor, and she is such a sweet soul. It shipped to me in the US very fast. So let me just say that this is the best bokhoor I’ve tried. It truly has a lovely and delightful scent, and you can tell that it’s hand made with care. Whenever anyone comes into my home one of the 1st comments is on how good it smells or that it just feels loving and comforting in my place. I will definitely be keeping in touch to get more once I use all of what I have, as it seems that I use it quite often now LOL. I love coming home and taking in a deep breath of love and pleasure. Thank you Aisha and Aisha Mum you really should have like a store or something because this stuff is so good 🙏🏽

Dear miss. Thank you so much for your in structural video. I have grown fond of the Islamic ritual of using incense and Oud. It makes me remember my grandmother, long time ago as a small child she would fumigate her whole house with myrrh and other beautiful incense. I have forgotten this actually until now that I am so into Oud based perfumes, that I have come across this wonderful and old ritual. Thank you very much for helping me regain this that is so important to me.

Ensar Oud is my favorite source for the best oud oils. Currently my gem is Kinam Rouge made from some of the last Kinam quality natural trees in Vietnam. The transitions and complexity of the scent profile is amazing. To think the master perfumer is mother nature herself is mind blowing. I hear over 500 different scent notes all inside these previous oils. Great video!

Tongs. Tongs are the tool that you use to grip something and lift it. They are usually jointed near the handle, with two grippers at the other end, so that you can one-handedly grasp objects. You might use tongs to move something hot, like food or burning logs, or to serve food such as salad, sugar cubes, or noodles.

@georgesimos43187 жыл бұрын
nice video, I enjoy agarwood as well. I spent a lot of money on the more resinated agarwood, so I tend to burn the less expensive agarwood. Indonesian agarwood is generally the cheapest with Cambodian being mid range and Vietnamese being usually the more expensive. But there are always exceptions to this, the older the tree and the more infected the better agarwood. My favorite oils are of course Oudh, then Shamamatul then taifi rose.

Definitely a practice from ancient horn Africa and other regions. Not a coincidence the traditional bukhoor ingredients are native to Africa. As well boqoor means king in Somali as we used these for royals often. Not surprised Arabs borrowed it and named it after Somalia royalty😊 as always the one true god knows best.

Inhaling so much toxicity in a close confined space. Carbon monoxide poisoning from burning charcoals Asthma, Respiratory irritation Headaches, Migraines. You are poisoning your indoor air quality and you are putting your child’s health at risk. It smells good, but prolonged chronically use of this in a small confined space will cost you much. I’m Somali and I use to do this, but I stopped and I now educate other mothers with small children to stop as well. It’s a very good tradition to have, but in the diaspora communities where space is an issue and concerns for indoor air quality, using this is not advisable. Thank you for you beautiful video💖💖

Perhaps you can teach people about how the Arabs, Indians and East-Asians came to know about bukhoor. It is made from frankincense, a product of SomaliA and Somaliland that has made its way to the Arabian peninsula when the people of Somal used to be powerful business people, sailors and tradesmen. Frankincense and a lot more soaps and beauty products are exported to the Arab countries from Somaliland still.

Great video, I recently bought some Nabeel black oudh which burns ok but the smell is a bit 'soapy' and according to the box it contains loads of chemicals. Your Mum's sounds amazing, would it be possible to buy some? I am in the UK.

Leo Marvell please message me on aisha.sayid2@gmail.com and I will arrange for you. Mum’s bakhoor is made the traditional yemeni way, using natural ingredients such as musk, sandal wood, oud chips, sugar, rose oil. I am sure you will enjoy it inshAllah.
