The backpack sprayer looks like a good option to have on hand, especially for those that don't have 12v cart setup. I like that you give tips on your videos. The info on time management is very helpful to those that haven't thought about utilizing which task to start first and why. Even laying out the different hoses on opposite sides of the house. It's something that anyone can adapt if they haven't given thought to it and simple to implement. Great content as always Cliff.

Yes I actually like the backpack sprayer. I'm going to test out a 20volt backpack sprayer next, I think that will work pretty well. I want everyone to see different methods of getting a job done, not everyone has nice gadgets and sprayers. I've shown 3 different methods of applications for paver sealing so far. Hey man what’s the difference between donwstreaming and soft washing? You mentioned in this video downstreaming wouldn’t work so you had to softwash. Is the SH more concentrated? Please explain. Thanks

They're both softwashing but yes with a dedicated softwash system like a 12v you can get a higher mix strength than downstreaming. Both are low pressure application but domqstreaming is limited to how strong your strength can be. With a softwash system you can go as high as full strength! Got me?

Nice Video! As a fellow pressure washing business owner I'd like to point out a few things that you could do to improve the process. Firstly The pressure cleaning, chemical application, and sand were done well and I couldn't fault the process. But for the sealing application, I'd have used a Penetrating sealer for pool surrounds, with a "Ryobi 18V One+ 15L Backpack Chemical Sprayer" or even using a roller. To allow for perfect application of the first layer (the most important layer). The 2nd coat will go on fairly fast and could be done with either roller or the sprayer. In my experience I've seen people apply sealer with a sprayer and not do the first layer properly, this has either given an undesirable finish. Or if they put on too thick of a layer, it will not allow breathability of the substrate, thus locking in rising water from beneath, causing a dull white finish (Trapped water).

Thanks. Can't really say cause all pavers aren't the same. It depends how porous and how wide the gaps are. This one had some big gaps so i used a little over 1 bag of sand. And I did 2 coats of sealer so about 6 gallons

Cliff how's it going man, I'm putting together a 12v system and I'm having the hardest time finding the teejet 6510 tips. Actually, had to order them from a place in Canada and they won't be in on time for a sealing job that I've had scheduled for this week. I've used my Graco airless sprayer on some jobs and works ok just puts out a lot of overspray. Could I use a regular pump sprayer and the tips that come with it? Its only about 800 sq ft pool deck. Hey brother yes you can use the flat spray tip from a pump up sprayer it should be the same size as the 6510 tips. Ive use my brass 6510 tips on my backpack sprayer and it works just fine. Im keep them as a backup since i dont use the cart much anymore. Try it on your 12V system I hope you are using a 1-2gpm pump and not a 5.5gpm 12v pump lol. Thanks for the compliment.

Great video and appreciate all the good info. I do have a question. When doing pavers do you find yourself using a stripper often or at all when using Deco products? I’ve always gone by the 4 or 5 years just pressure wash but with 1 to 3 years you might need to strip .

Never had to strip one so far. But from the directions I got from deco products, I was told I can seal the pavers again after 3 years or so without stripping it. I can even go and do a coat the following year too.
