@@crystalrain89 It works! The trick is to not use too much water. You want to do spraying just enough to get it wet, and a lot of scrubbing and sucking. The thing works! If you can feel water in the padding when you stand on it, you need to suck up more water. Also helps to point a fan at the wet area. *Edit:* Also you want the handle to pretty much be parallel to the floor. I think if you try to angle it more upward, like a hand held vacuum, you don't get the full suction. I think that's how mine ended up so wet the first time. I was scrubbing but not really sucking.

I just pulled it out for the first time this weekend when I fill it with water and then tip it downwards to put it into the machine. Water comes out of the little pinhole in a stream. The pinhole is on the black cap exactly where the straw like tube goes into the tank

@MyProjectWeekend Жыл бұрын
You’re welcome! It depends on how soiled/dirty the carpet is. I find 1-2 oz to be enough for most spots but if I have a particularly tough stain I typically treat it individually. I think it’s a good idea to start with the recommended amount and adjust it as needed based on your experience. After a while you’ll start to get the hang of it and adjust as needed. Thanks and happy cleaning!!

How do you clean all the crap out that gets clogged in the nozzle head? Around the sides of where the dirty water is sucked through? After using it for really dirty areas or areas with put fur it really needs to be rinsed out straight away, otherwise the dirt sets in there like concret.

Can you leave water in the clean tank if you haven’t used it all?
@MyProjectWeekend2 жыл бұрын
That’s a good question. I wouldn’t leave water in the tank for more than a couple hours. Bacteria growth would be my main concern.

Is there supposed to be a paperclip sized hole in the screw cap for the clean water tank? The paperclip sized hole is about half way from cap center...Does your little green has the same hole? Mine leaks so I'm thinking about returning mine🤔

Hi Andrea, no there shouldn’t be a hole on the side of the screw cap. There is a hole on the tip where the water comes out but there’s a spring loaded cap that keeps the water from leaking when it’s not in the machine. If you fill up the tank with the screw cap properly in place it shouldn’t leak any water when you hold it upside down.

Mine has the same thing.

Just used mine for the first time and it also has a tiny hole that leaks. Thinking about returning it as well.

Yes, there is a paperclip sized hole that should go to the plastic straw inside that extends to the top of the tank when it is inverted. It is an air vent. For liquid to come out, air must get in. If the plastic straw is missing, liquid will come out that hole or if the straw is present and the liquid level goes over the top of the straw. Try this experiment, use a round toothpick to plug that hole, fill the container about half way, turn it upside down and push open the nozzle. Will fluid come out?
