Hi there. If you want to create a “fake action” (ex : pouring olive oil in the tank of the car) can you do with green background or you need to make two videos (1 pouring oil anywhere and another one simulating that you put oil in the tank) and use the overlay and masking? Been using Capcut lately and I must say I really love this software for shorts. Don't use it for long form edits but there really good. I want to start editing my shorts on my phone when I'm not on my laptop. Thinking of getting a flash drive USB c for my phone would that work since I make Star wars edits. Also why doesn't CapCut have a 4:5 ratio preset? 1080*1350

Unfortunately no. Capcut’s timeline doesn’t auto adjust for anything. Lumafusion has this though I believe.

@CollinMichael Hi Collin... You were recently kind enough to respond to the above question I asked. I actually found a way to resolve this! While editing, I find that if I snap all of video clips into the MAIN panel, then I perform a delete all of the content (music, text, pics, vrol etc) does move with the edit. Capcut seems to want to place clips into sub panels (by default). This causes the issues where the content gets misaligned when edits take place. I am trying to figure out how to change that "default" feature, but really, that is a very small issue. Now that I've figured it out. Thanks again! Happy New Year!

Sometimes it has to do with your background. Making sure that your background is contrasting you can help the software cut you out and separate you from the background.
