Ya it’s THE app if you’re serious about editing on your phone. The desktop version is amazing, great for beginners or if you don’t want to pay hundreds to get into the bigger NLE’s like Final Cut, Premiere, or DaVinci.

Honestly it does vary from platform to platform hey? Some compress the heck out of the videos, on KZbin it will play at full res which shows how good the mobile phones are these days, but unfortunately we have little control over how the other apps will treat our files. Little life hack, if you have a drone in your arsenal and not a gimbal, you can hold your drone and walk around with it as a gimbal with tracking. I use my DJI mavic air 2 with tracking to shoot those wide videos he mentioned around 4-5mins

What do you record at ? IG doesn’t do more than 1080 right ? The weird thing is, I’ve seen videos on IG that look ultra clear. Do you record in 4K and export in 1080 and that makes the 1080 look better ?

Filmed in either 4K 24fps or 4K 60fps and in CapCut exported at 1080. 👍🏼
