I followed the steps you outlined, created an account but I cannot get to the same screen that you are showing...the screen is totally different and I cannot see the screen you are showing where you do the settings for Chinese etc

I dont like using chatgpt because I cannot really check myself if the AI did something wrong. I dont trust it that much :/

I tried to use ChatGPT for practicing Chinese speaking and in my case it didn't work AT ALL. My level is HSK4, but still have issues with pronanciation. I guess many others bigginers in Chinese would have the same result.

I am more practicing with Google translator and it is works super wierd with voice input, for example I moultiple times try to pronounce the sentance 妈妈骂马吗？, I tried my best to utter the clear, but all the time got the result 妈妈妈妈妈。 I also really stuggle with sentance 您从大学毕业开始工作。 Google realize the word 您 sometimes as 年 sometimes as 牛。 I tried it about 20 times in this sentance Google didn't realize it as 您， I have no idea why, in other santances I have no probles with it. in the santance 要是 我们一起开始吃。after miltiple attampts I have no success with word 要是， sometimes it realized it as 钥匙 sometimes as 教室. and such issues happen all the time even if I try to utter every sound and every tone as clear as I can

Not natural at all. Ask ChatGPT the capital of China and it gives you a paragraph of text. Everyone endorsing ChatGPT for language learning refuses to point out the obvious: ChatGPT is way too verbose for language learning. 👎
