Yes you put it on the roots but not the scalp….for example when dying hair you hit the roots but not the scalp. Going to be honest with you…it’s very moisturizing as I have 4Z (yes I wrote “Z”) hair and it does a great job with it….but it smells interesting.

You just try your best not to touch this scalp. That’s all. The scalp is the skin on your head, the roots are just the highest parts of your hair. That’s all.

It’s neither. It’s closer to a leave-in cream/styler. You don’t wash it out. It’s very moisturizing but it has an interesting smell to it. It’s not completely off putting but it’s interesting.

Because it causes dandruff and can dry up ur hair , plus it’s suppose to add strength and growth to the body of ur hair , it’s not suppose to be applied on the scalp

It's has a very strong smell and it made my eyes burn once I started using it. This really concerns me. They want you to wash it every 3 days and wash it out and reapply it. 4c hair doesn't like be washed every 3 days due to excessive dryness. I wish I knew this before I purchased.

YES, mine too!! I received a broken container with contents spilling out, but it looked like what's in the video; thick with seed-like particles. However, they had to send me a new one due to package damage during shipping, and this replacement looks NOTHING like my first one... It just looks like goopy petroleum jelly.... I thought maybe it was due to the product being melted by the sun during shipping since it was all melted like oil when I received it, but now that its' cooled off and solid, it just looks like dark Vaseline!! I'm now questioning the legitimacy of this product. I believe I want to stick with well-known hair suppliers that have history instead of trying out these newbie producers.
