It’s healthy, full and bouncy I only apply as needed when it’s dry and mostly for a protective style and when I feel like my hair sucked it in I reapply so maybe like twice a week. Hey All? Leave an 🙌🏽below this comment if you would like to see me try the Chebe Powder the Traditional Way 😊
@user-qq8cd9tu9r5 жыл бұрын
Would be interested to try this, but not completely clear on the process. I saw how u showed the butter being melted in the double boiler and the carrier oils with the chebe powder on the stove but when u strained it and put it in the freezer had u already added the melted butter so that it was mixed already prior to whipping? TIA for clarification:)
@YayaDIYCreations5 жыл бұрын
s. isaac-raman Hey. I don’t mind. You can ask as many questions as you like. 🙂 To answer your question, the Chebe Infused oil and melted butters were prepared separately. So, when I strained the Chebe powder; it was only the Chebe Infused oil. After that, I showed the melted butters and how I poured the Chebe infused oil in with the butters. After stirring, I placed the mixture (Chebe infused oil and melted butter mix) into the freezer before whipping. *So, at 2:55 you will see that the melted butters mixture is a pale yellow color. When I pour in the Chebe Infused oil, the mixture turns a deep, rich brownish color. I hope this helps 😊

So glad to see you use this on your son. I was wondering if I could use it on my daughter’s hair. It seems to be a lil stagnant in growth. She just turned 4 & I had her ends trimmed hoping that would help. & I also keep it in cornrows. I would love to add this natural key to her regimen. Thank you so much for sharing 🖤🤎🖤

When you added it to your son’s hair did you wash it out or leave it in for the 3-5 days? And if you washed it out how much time did you keep it in & did you use shampoo and condition after the wash out? I know I’m asking a lot lol
@teahgurl4 жыл бұрын
She left it for a week but it doesn’t seem she reapplied it as a religious routine. Seems she washed it and conditioned it as she would before styling (my guess here)... (I searched comments)

How was your son's hair after it dried? Was it greasy at all? I loved the way the amount you used defined his curls.
@YayaDIYCreations5 жыл бұрын
water_n_oil Thank you! His hair soaks up moisture, so I did use a lot. It was super soft and absorbed fast but some of the excess did rub off onto his sheets when he laid down. (He laid down right after because he was soo tired while I was doing his hair lol. That’s why i was rushing to finish). It did not stain but it did leave behind a wonderful scent 😊😊

I love the idea of infusing the pil! Just just got some for the first time and I'm going to infuse my butters :) I used it the traditional way and didnt like the feel. Infusing butters is a much better fit for me . Thanks for sharing.
