How to use CNC Drill Bits in Column Drills

As many of you have asked about my CNC dowel drill bits, I am gonna try to explain a bit the differences and benefits over the classic ones.
They are made for being used in CNC machines or drilling and tapping centers. But more and more people are using them in column drills or 3D Routers as mine.

Have you tried using drill bits designed for acrylic for this purpose? They have a tapered head similar to the v-point cnc bits but at a fraction of the cost. They are also available in SAE for metric-phobic Americans like me:)

Great talk and demonstration! To risk repeating a request someone else already made it would be even better if you could please post a link to somewhere that you have found these bits. I've looked on eBay and Amazon, but what I find there doesn't look quite like what you're using.

How do you install CNC drill bit with bevel into usual chuck with 3 points contact? It is not easy and need attention all 3 points of chuck contact with round surface of CNC drill bit

In that start moments of video there no any trouble to install CNC in usual column drill, but really it requires little more accuracy - not just easy as it looks at start of video. In start moments it is just easy like usual wood drill bit with round chuck, but it is not so simple

+Paoson WoodWorking ok, i guess a stabdars bradpoint bit is more than good enough for most woodwork anyway, just put some scrap behind the hole and you wont have tearout problems.
