Pretty good video that way plenty more in depth than I initially thought. There is something you forgot to mention though. If a Coin falls due to a POW Block or a Bomb, it can affect seesaw’s. Kind of a niche thing, but I’m sure somebody can use it to some neat effect.

I’m adding a part about the Frozen Coins. The Frozen Coins are a variant of normal Coins. They behave like normal ice blocks unless they are hit with a fireball from a Fire Flower, Fire Piranha Plant, Bowser, Bowser Jr, Fire Clown Car, Fire Rain (SMW exclusive), Fire Bar, Burner, Angry Sun, Lava Bubble, or (somewhat surprisingly) a Magikoopa Magic Blast(?), in which case they turn into a coin that behaves normally. They cannot go into Pipes or Bullet Blasters, and cannot be thrown by Lakitu. If a Bob-omb or Bomb from the Master Sword powerup explodes near them, they will turn into normal coins and will behave as if a POW Block exploded near them. Please like so more people can see this!

Also, as of Version 2.0, Coins have an alternate form, the Frozen Coin. It spawns with the same properties as an Ice Block, but turns into a Coin when destroyed, or when any fire-based projectile or enemy touches it.

Would you ever consider discussing how parts could be used in "Mario Kart" style courses (ones that rely on the P-balloon, clown car, etc.) in your breakdowns? Also, I tried to use the course code that you put at the end of the video, but it didn't work because you can't enter the letter "O" when looking stuff up based on IDs.

I would recommend changing your terminology a bit, specifically the word "variation". For example, with the Koopa. Green and Red koopas are Variations. Wings and Parachutes are Modifications. The reason I say that is because you can't just have a Winged Koopa. It's either a green winged koopa, or red winged koopa. Modifications add to he variations, but they aren't equal, and shouldn't be listed in the same list.

I mean you are correct, but each modification affects the green and red koopa the same way, independently from the variation/base version of the koopa, and in this case he shows what each modification specifically does. But technically (and I'm using google here) variation can mean "a change or difference in condition," so his use of the word is still correct. But either way there are not multiple variations (if we are using your definitions) or base versions of the coin, so its not reasonable to require the level of distinction you are asking for. I'm sure when he covers something like the koopa he will cover all of that

A coin fell onto the ground (via pow, bomb or parachute) can activate certain things, like note blocks (at least that's what I know of). Certain contraptions make use of this (but I doubt its actual general usefulness).

Tobias, I was watching Fridays stream, and if you still haven't figured something out, I know something that will almost definitely work: ELC manipulation! For anyone who doesn't know what the ELC is, it's a secret entity limit in Mario maker (I doubt it changed in mm2) that Ceave gaming discovered. I can't really explain it other than it's a playtime limit for powerups, so go watch his video. Fill up most of the ELC, then spawn 1-4 fire flowers, then have 4 question blocks get activated successively such that you can detect which one the ELC is full at, and that's all you need. No clown cars necessary.
