There's so much things that Lumenzia's "BlendIf" function can do. This summer I'll enjoy taking landscape and architectural pictures to use those functionalities of this tool.

Very interesting - didn't realize BlendIf would save so much space (although thinking about it after the fact, I can see why it does) thanks GB!

Massive space. A new luminosity mask typically adds about 1/3rd the size of a regular layer (since it’s a grayscale image), while BlendIF does not change the file size at all. Adding three luminosity masks will typically double the size of the file, adds up quickly. Worth it when needed, but there are times when BlendIf is all you need.

@@gregbenzphotography Indeed - I've never thought of simply relying on Blend-If on its own before! I will experiment from now on... Thanks again for the insights!

It’s an amazing tool. Try combining with simple layer masks for local control, or with vector masks to local control with absolutely no increase in file size (if you’re using Lumenzia, just choose the vector mask output, it can build the vector mask from paths or selections).

I have a similar shot from that same narrow peninsula you would have been on. : )

Any plans of making Lumenzia available for Affinity ? Almost 2 million are using Affinity ....
