How to use Content Aware Fill in Photoshop

In this video professional photographer Tom Mackie shares how to use Content Aware Fill in Photoshop as part of your workflow to process great Landscape Photography images.
Tom outlines provides an 'over the shoulder' step by step tutorial on how he uses this feature of Photoshop and explains the difference it can make between taking a shot that has great potential compared to not getting an image at all.
As with anything in landscape photography, the more you practice the better the easier it becomes, and Tom's video hopefully highlights the options available to photographers.

Thank you Tom, nicely done. Very effective teaching technique of trying different approaches to the problem to show the differing results. Too often we get 'told' to NOT do something but I really appreciated your approach of "let's see what this does". I find it reinforces the learning that much more! Near the end though you left a teaser of "let's try this" and you didn't share what you were doing :-) Overall though excellent. One question though is what do you use as a guideline of when to use "Fill" versus selecting "Content Aware Fill" off the edit menu?

Great demo of CAF. It's a personal taste thing I suppose but the Luminar treatment was a little over done in my opinion. I'm guilty of that too in my processing. Usually I end up looking at it later and backing off.
