I thought Corvin was pretty weak but then I understood he's very versatile and he's very easy to use against Elma. What I don't know is if using Corvin, Dagas and Patroka (or Adenine) is better than Corvin, Adenine and Patroka. Dagas has the Kaiser Zone but Adenine and Patroka both have that elemental debuff 100% which is rather nice. My doubt is for Elma Redux.

@@juanjosedelpinorivas7099 If exploiting an elemental weakness, the combination of Patroka and Adenine will always be stronger than replacing one of them with Dagas. That said, if not exploiting a weakness, then Dagas will be better.

@@codename618 I had the doubt because I don't remember if Galactic Strike can hit all the clones or not using Dagas, but Ghost Factory can be glitched with a level 3 special iirc. It's the same idea as hitting the gogols in right before Carlos using Dagas to expand the AoE. I haven't tried this yet, it's been months and I kinda want to reduce a bit my personal times in many challenges.

Honestly, when Xenoblade: the Zohar collection (and if not that, a port of Xeno 2) is released on a future console, the only, ONLY, change I want above all others is Xenoblade 2 finally getting good tutorials. Enel I was inspired by your solo Brighid vs Ophion so i recreated it for Corvin by using: Max Affinity attack 4, Reflect immunity, and Jade Orchid Brighid. Also i used a little bit of Mythra for Foresight and Fiora for Warrior Valkyrie and my time is 19:53 on Bringer if Chaos with pictures of proof. I see now why Corvin is a top tier now 😅😅😅, BTW I love your content, i addicted to watching it, and seeing you play SMTV made me so excited that you play more JRGPs and your Xenoblade vids are so funny and useful and educational you inspire me so much and taught me so much😢😊🥺, i may be late to the party with getting Xenoblade 2 this summer 2023 and SMTV for Christmas last year but i love these games to death. He almost seem a little too broken for my tastes lol. I love the hype that you get when you see an auroboros drive from Ophion and micromanaging to get either a level 4 blade special or chain attack. By far my favorite blades are Pyra/Mythra/pneuma, Perceval, kosmos, and Poppibuster. They just appeal the most to me

Despite moon matter being his best core chip, I like the tachyon chip because his normal sword looks so cool. Fortunately being completely optimal isn't necessary unless you're going for very fast kills 😉

Corvin really is a Blade that can do almost anything you want him to. Need an Evasive Tank? He does it better more than any other Blade. Need healing? His Level 1 Special does that. On top of being a powerful attacker that draws Aggro who evades attacks during his specials. There is almost nothing Corvin can’t do.

14:19 Is it just me, or does Roc's Smash occur faster than Corvin's Smash, on Rex? I've been completing those "finish Driver Combos" Affinity nodes using Mor Ardain's Fabel Bufa enemies, and their Rock Dunk attack (which puts them in a Launch state for one or two seconds). I've pretty much always been able to Smash with Roc, but not with Corvin...

I never heard of Sword Art Online, but I got this game and the dlc as a gift, and when I got Corvin, I was like "whoa". I actually didn't learn orbs, blade combos, or driver combos till much later in the game because of him lmao.

A super OP blade that has infinite evasion and that is what you need for bringer of chaos difficulty. That is just proof as to how unbalanced that difficulty is. I could barely beat those bee enemies in Mor Ardain for one of the sidequests in BoC difficulty. I can't even imagine how insane a regular new game is with that difficulty setting. Although, you might only be able to play in BoC in NG+. it has been a while since I played this game.

Sorry for reviving this thread, but I once attempted a fresh new game playthrough on Bringer of Chaos. I gave up once that Aligo Boss in the Ancient Ship with Cursed Cuisine repeatedly brought me close to 0 HP and I couldn't steer the fight into a more positve direction. (For a NG+ playthrough, I imagine you could just cheese the fight (I mean I guess you kinda have to unless you grind levels) with evasion arts and so on. I'm not an expert or anything on the game, but beyond that one Cursed Cuisine the Aligo uses right at the beginning, the rest of the fight should be manageable.
