How to use Cricut Watercolour Markers | Cricut tutorial

How do you make a watercolor card from scratch using a image from Google? I cannot find this ANYWHERE. I saw numerous videos on KZbin stating you can make watercolor cards with online images, but none of the video show you how and all tutorials use already uploaded templates from design space. I found an image of a collage of herbs I found on Google b/c I wanted to make my friend a garden herb watercolor card. I used the instructions I found on a website and changed it the image to draw, so it would have lines but then when I hit make it, the "card mat" selection is greyed out. It only allows me the option on mat or without. How do I do a custom made watercolor card not using a Design Space template?

I am actually busy working on a video for this :) But basically just make sure its a solid colour image (eg, is solid black so it only draws the outline and doesnt have a black line around the image) and once you upload the design, change it from basic cut to pen :) If you cannot select the card mat your design is likely too big to fit on any card size Cricut has loaded. Scale it back a bit and it should appear!
