Found myself constantly smiling through this video! I appreciated the fun banter back and forth guys. Great and educational video

Thanks both. A video about using the types of delays in common scenarios in worship songs would be cool too.

Thanks for making a helpful video that isn’t simply inspiring consumerism or gear envy for guitarists! I’m using the Starlight Echo Station and really love it. Used the DD-3 for years. God bless!

DD5 and a Timefactor here. T1M tap pedal sends the tempo to both. Covers lots of ground. I agree, the timeline scares me. Thanks for the great content!

The timefactor is my (nick) favorite delay pedal! I want one again so badly.

I am certainly not an expert on using delay in my playing but I have three different delay pedals on my pedalboard and I love each one for different applications. MXR Carbon Copy Delay Electro-Harmonix Canyon Delay Boss DD-200 Digital Delay

How do you like that Canyon Delay?
@jamesmharvey4 ай бұрын
@@worshipartistry I love the Canyon Delay. It has some great delay "sounds" and is very easy to use. I did add a tap switch to set the tempo. I do wish the tap/divide button was either easier to change with my foot 🙂or would keep the previous setting when powered down. Even with that, it's a great pedal. I actually considered the Grand Canyon when I dumped my Flashback and bought the DD-200.

T1M with a Barefoot Button is my tap tempo switch.

I have the Boss 500 series on my P&W pedalboard and I would like to know how you dial in delays on the DD500 and what your process is as far as building song specific presets or build general use sounds.

How I use mine: I generally just have a short delay and then a longer delay on one bank, and then bank up, I then have similar sounds but just very ambient. If I do song specific banks, I just basically use the delay how I like to play with it and try to match it if it has a heavy mod on it or something, but basically just set the BPM for each song and then bank thru them. I pretty much just build out general use sounds for delay, that's how I really prefer it. I stick pretty much with 1/4, 1/8, dotted 1/8, then dual.

I hate a Echolution 3 that feeds into a GFI Clockwork V3. Was going to downsize but each delay gives me something the other doesn't. Still working on using them in series though.

that sounds rad! The GFI stuff is V cool. I definitely want to get ahold of one

I use a JHS Lucky Cat (mono) -> Boss DD-200 (stereo). 8th -> dodded 8th most of the time. Love the sounds I get out of this combo 👐🏼

I've not tried a JHS Lucky Cat, sounds cool though. What kind of delay is it?
@benjaminkoskinen58355 ай бұрын
@@worshipartistry It is a digital delay pedal that also has a tape (emulated) delay setting with more character. It has a very unique "darken" knob that can make it more analog sounding. Also has 2 "mod" switches to make the repeats more swirly/chorusy. The pedal is discontinued, and wasn't that popular. Idk why really.

I use a DD-500. I've been using this about 4 years, however, it seems some guitarist are covering all songs with a Strymon El Capistan, Tape Delay. I guess they tap in each song. I don't know how they change from 1/4, 1/8, dotted 1/8, etc.
@erickdiaz61525 ай бұрын
the new version of the el capistan has MIDI. That is a way you can change the tempo settings
