Excellent demo!! I just got a D878UV to access DMR, and this is definitely key info for using the radio. I have seen so many videos on DMR and the D878UV over the past week, and this is the first time that I have come across this feature. Thanks for posting this!

You didn't hear anything on parrot because you didn't transmit anything. Is your hotspot a dual hotspot? If not then you won't be able to change talkgroups while it is in transmit mode.

Yes. However, Alinco has no training beyond an owner's manual that we're aware on how to use the radio.

Is it possible to use it as a dmr scanner? When you activate monitor mode is it possible to scan frequencies in this status?

Yes I believe so, once the digital monitor functions are enabled in the menu, but the scan rate is very slow - remember these are not scanners! - it's not their primary function, too many people want them to be
