These are great patterns after you have the basic scales and arpeggios down. Thank you

Richard, great video. I am watching as I text. I am playing this on a 🔑 board 🎹. I am glad you put the notes out.I saw those minor thirds, and how straight forward the pattern is. I heard you play it and noticed that some notes were held a little longer. I did it on the piano..copy 🐱 style. For those on the 🔑 s have some thoughts. The arpeggios seem to feel more natural to me if I am just a little left of middle C. I just focused on thumb on the notes of first arpeggio. C Eb Gb C. I wonder how this lick would sound as Dmin7b5. D F Ab B. My piano teacher Ca. 72 -76 taught me to play that in my first few lessons. Followed alternately with a C6.

Glad you like it! You're right - there are heaps of possible variations and extensions of these exercises. I'm always working different permutations. Thanks for watching 😊

Thx, very nice lesson… the background music while you talk is a little distracting- it should not be so good ;)

Its impossible to concentrate on what you are saying with that annoying background music. You seem like a great player but I won't be coming back, thanks.
