They actually fit like a glove! I just stick them on the underside and they hold. I do Velcro side up

hello. Love the video. it was really nice colors and calming as well. Where did you purchase the dryer or is it called a different name.. also if you don't have such too to dry could you use a hair dryer on cool setting or warm.. thank you.

That’s a great question! A hairdryer has a heavier air flow that is not as hot as this and is loud. I would not interchange the two 🙂 rangerink.com/products/ranger-heat-it-craft-tool

Betz, I love your tutorials. But, I have tried the distress inks and I am not getting it. I blend it and at first it comes on too dark, then quickly turns too light. I tried putting less on the blending tool but doesn't work for me. Help! any ideas much appreciated. Thanks.

I feel your pain! If you have any water or moisture on your substrate or add to it makes it lighter by turning it kind of chalky. You can use Microglaze on it to bring back the vibrancy. I sometimes don’t add water because it does make it lighter and I don’t always want that chalky finish.

Are you applying the ink directly to the paper? Try picking your the ink either a blending tool and then applying to your paper. Start off the page and blend in

what do you mean by getting mud?

Often times when you combine color it can look like mud. Not the pretty brown when you want to do a distress, but a muddy color.

It usually happens when you mix complementary colors together like red/green, blue/orange, yellow/purple, etc. The result ends up a muddy brown. I guess you could also say this can happen if you mix cool colors with warm colors as a rule. It helps to use a color wheel when coloring.
