Great tip on getting your mix right before mastering. And one way to make your mixing better is to listen to the A.I. mastering preview these services provide before you purchase. Not the best way, but a little trial and error helps in any case. I'm not at all into sending my music to someone else for mastering. So this A.I. mastering is a good compromise for an artist like me who only makes and releases music as a hobby and value my anonimity.

Question for you...I never use DK's mastering tools as I do it myself. But this time I tried an A/B listen with the Mixea version and I like the guitar sound better so I used it. But my question is how do I get a .wav file with the Mixea Master on it? I only have my original .wav but I want the Mixea version for my promo videos....Thank you for your answer! (I did not sub to Mixea but instead paid the $10 add on fee when I was uploading....so now I do not see the Mastered .wav anywhere)

I get what you mean 90 percent mixing 10 percent mastering I always try for the best mix Mix it into a CD and play it in my car stereo That's how I mix if it sounds good in the car stereo that's alright with me I record into a Korg D8 digital mixer which is old school then I mix it to a CD then I convert it to MP3 on the computer then I release it through a distributor That's the only way I know I see people on line using computer studios and plugins and they make great music without any effort just by clicking How do I get started with this method of recording I'd like to make better quality recordings Many thanks Enjoying your videos

Wow. That sounds like a long process. I would definitely recommend getting a professional audio engineer program like Pro-Tools to do recordings, mixing, and mastering

I need a unbiased opinion, in other words AI is taking money out your pockets. I’m a mixer myself but you didn’t even do a side by side comparison. You didn’t tell me anything I didn’t already research. From my perspective it’s definitely something you have to play around with but a comparison is what we’ve all come here for.
