For those who are new to dowsing with rods, this is verrry important... open may be yes for you hun but crossed rods is yes for me & for most people who use them. So we can't tell people that "open is yes" because it may not be for them. After tuning in, surrounding ourselves in Gold Light from our Inner Light & setting the intention for what we're about to do, we then ask the rods to show us what's yes, what's nuetral/not yet known/maybe & what's no. More often than not, crossed is yes, pointing straight ahead is neutral or "not known at this time" & swinging backwards (very often it's only one rod that swings backwards for no) is no 🙏💜🙏

I have that exact set, same case and all. I start each session by saying "yes" is crossed and "no" is open. I sometimes test them by asking them to point in the direction of a specific person out of town. I recently bought a set off Amazon for 17.99 that came with dowsing rods with a wooden handle as well as a pendulum, pendulum mat, case, and pamphlet. Just wanted to say I found the same, that the rods take a while to work. However, the pendulum works straight away. I also really like the set because of this booklet it came with explaining the brief history of dowsing and how to use the tools, and it said with the rods that X marks the spot when looking for water, so I also took that to mean that X means yes. I guess it’s open to interpretation! 🤷🏽‍♀️ anywho, just wanted to say I’m having better luck with the pendulum so far. Highly recommend trying it sometime. They need to be at arm's distance as to not be affected by our energy (& not be close enough to touch us) & at arm's width apart from each other. Before I start using any tool, I ask Source to show me "yes" and to show me "no", then I ask the questions. These positions/ angles can and do change. I see it all the time on my pendulum. Years ago, I learned from my Applied Kinesiologist that in checking the body, sometimes signals can get crossed... because the body energy can get crossed. He had a routine of checking the health of every major organ, then testing to see which supplements supported whatever issue that came up. On the rare occasion he got weird results, he KNEW to check for crossing. Of course, he had me do a specific exercise to uncross, and then the exam could resume normally. We use these tools in conjunction with the energy in our body. If our energy is crossed, the answers will be wrong. ALWAYS verify what is yes or no before starting each session.

I've been enjoying my rods a lot. Funny thing happened. When my son visited, I showed him my rods and offered for him to try them out. The rods wouldn't move for him! HI, yes this is a gift. But you do have to be careful and respectful. You can just as easily be chatting up an energy that is *not* a high vibration. Take the time to learn how to discern high vibration energies VS low vibration ones. There isn't a decoder ring for this. It's best to work closely with your own Spirit Guides and get to know them energetically. How do they feel? What do you feel in your body when you are in contact with them? FEELING love, or warmth or chills whatever it is in your body is the real way to know if they are really your guides and not an imposter. Hi Amanda, yes. That’s where many of the answers lie. But we have to get around our “thinking brain” and all of the things we “know to be true” whether they are or not first. I know everyone says this, but that’s because it works: meditate. Find a guided meditation (KZbin) that makes you feel good, woozy or relaxed. It can be on self love or self esteem or happiness. That will also raise your vibration which will make it easier to connect with divine guidance. Then you can start doing guided meditations on meeting your spirit guides, higher self and learning what that feels like. This is a process, it’s not flip a with and connect like making a phone call. But it is so worth it. 🙏🏻❤️

Interesting. You do have to ask them if they are ready to work with you. Also .. I switched hands and that worked too. Hope you have better luck.

Susan I’ve used the coat hanger ones I’ve made and they work perfectly. Got these in my Amazon cart. Yeah….I think my mind is strong enough to move them. At least with the pendulum. I haven’t done it with the rods.
