How to use Ducatidiag

In this video I will show you how to adjust the fuel trim level, read out any error codes and reset the TPS sensor and service indicator.
This is all done on a 2008 hypermotard 1100s with DP ECU and double Termi exhaust with cat delete. It will work on all ducatidiag that use the same ecu. For a full list visit the website of ducatidiag ducatidiag.xooi...
Edit: Ducatidiag was shut down because of some intellectual property issues. The software is now back under the name of JPdiag and can be found here: jpl250rs.perso....
Alternatively you could also try Guzzidiag, but I haven't yet had the time to test it myself to see if it fully works.

I just bought a cheap Fiat 3 Pin to OBD2 cable from ebay, it has to have the alligator clips to hook it up to a battery (first cable I got was crappy and didn't work though, it's a crapshoot but on the Ducatdiag site they have a list of good vendors). I also bought a VAG OBD KKL cable from ebay, mine was blue with a white/blue led but the other ones will probably also work.

I can't get my 2008 Ducati 1098 to connect to GuzziDiag and Ducati diag seems to not be available anymore. Any suggestions or ideas? I've used GuzziDiag on my Aprilia rsv4 with no problems.

are you sure you are using the correct port to connect with? I'm using ducatidiag on Windows 8 and I've used it on Win 7 and Vista without problems. I can't recall precisely how I found out which port, but it has something to do with device manager. You should ask this question on the ducatidiag forum they know much more about it. JP had to shut down the website due to some pressure from "specific people", Ducatidiag now only works if you had a license before and it will only work on that specific ECU. However, I've found out that there's something similar called Guzzidiag which should work the same. I haven't yet had the opportunity to try it since I'm currently away from home. Maybe in a few weeks time I can test it myself.

Also, I've found out that Ducatidiag is back again, yet under the name JPdiag and can be found here: jpl250rs.perso.sfr.fr/ For some reason however the forum seems to be down so your best bet for now would still be guzzidiag.

Drinkyoghurt thanks, what specific Ecu?. i have this Streetfighter witht the Termignonis changed thay come with an ecu.. would that work? . (what license you mean, waht happens with all the guys who already have the software like you..)

MR.S7 The streetfighter has the same ECU as the Hypermotard 1100 and the Moto Guzzi Breva 1100. It's the Magnetti Marelli IAW 5AM ecu. In order to get the Ducatidiag or JPdiag working, you need to get some information from your ECU first and send it to JP. JP will then make a license file for you with the information from your ECU, so that you can use the program for that specific ECU (this is in order to avoid commercial abuse I'd reckon). The program will then work for only diagnostics, resetting TPS, adjusting fuel trim etc. but will not be able to flash maps.

Did you register the software? It's a free registration and the tps button won't work until you do.
