Works great on my new Taranis QX7. Had to make sure I set the External RF to PPM and Ch 1-12, and I turned off Internal RF. Then I got the green light and it does what it's supposed to. Binded right to my E010 and other micro toy drones I had.

Did you follow these steps listed? (all also shown in Mika's video) Create a new model and in that model config: Turn off Internal RF Set the *External* RF to PPM and Ch 1-12 Check that green LED is glowing on the mini module. Turn off Radio Power up E010 Hold sticks in position shown in this video (bottom/right, bottom/right for Mode 2) and turn the radio on. Should bind. My E010 works, but unable to get a JJRC H20 to bind and Banggood has no answers. Their binding stick instructions may be wrong for that model

cybervid07 my module is the original from goebish himself, so there isnt a light that I can see. but yeah have done all that and still nothing. bit will re watch and double check.

If you have a original Goebish, then he will support you directly, see his Github area and link to buying the original to get his email. Hope nobody tries to get help from Goebish for the BG model since as Mika said he gets nothing from BG.

Works with the E011 too, protocol selection is pitch up and to the right, throttle all the way down while switching on taranis. (right stick up and to the right, left stick down, if you fly with a mode 2 radio) you have to have your mixer channels set to AETR, inputs can stay the same. flips are on channel 6, headless on channel 8 and rebind on channel 12, don't rebind while flying. FLY HARD

Warning: it does not work with newer E010 boards that have the label JR-NH010R5 It only works with the older JR-NH010R board which flies better too.

The video doesn't explain very well the process of making this module to work as it was already installed and that is kind of confusing for most people. Anyway thanks for the video as it covered most of the storry :) In my case the GREEN light doesn't went on or blinking whatever I do, I thought the module is DOA. But after watching a few more videos and reading on the forums I think I sorted out where the problem is. I have tried different firmwares fo my Taranis X9D+ (now with Opentx 2.1.9) and I found that for making it work the firmware is not so important but the exact next steps are the key: 1. Mount the module 2. Power the transmitter ON 3. Create new model 4. Go to the settings of the new model and set the Internal transmitter OFF 5. Go to the Mixer settings and set channels order to be AETR 6. Power OFF the Taranis 7. Power ON the Taranis 8. Go to the settings of the new model and set External transmitter ON 9. Set the External transmitter settings as per the video - PPM, CH1 - CH12 10. Power OFF the Taranis 11. Power ON the Taranis and in a few seconds you'll see the GREEN light blinking Now it's time for binding 12. Power OFF the Taranis 13. Power on the QUAD 14. Set sticks positions for binding and Power ON the Taranis If the quad is supported and you had the right sticks combination for binding then the quad lights will indicate that it's bind to the transmitter. Now you are ready to fly :)

What version of OpenTX do you have on your Taranis? I have 2.1.9 and I can't get mine to bind to an E010. I created a new model, turned off the internal module, set PPM on the external module with CH1-12, and have CH1-4 Set to AETR. I push down-right on both sticks during boot and get the solid green light on the module, but it won't bind to the E010.

A couple of things I found out today. If you have not bound the transmitter yet, there will not be a green light. Be aware that you might need to reverse one or more servos on your transmitter. The quad is looking for a specific gimbal positions. If the servo is reversed it will see an aileron left gimbal movement as an aileron right gimbal movement and will not arm. After you have reversed the servo on your screen 7 outputs (Taranis Plus) try it again. It worked for me with having to reverse both elevator and aileron to get the right signal to the quad. Now I can burn through multiple batteries in my living room. Right now it is nighttime and -4 F. $10.99 well spent. Thanks Banggood for keeping my tootsies warm. Thanks, Mika for going to the effort. It is a very good starting point and thanks for having the link to which gimbal movements are for which quad.

Hoping you can help. My transmitter is the Turnigy XR9Pro. I followed you video and referenced the manual. It is not binding. I have tried both left and right rudder and all four corners of the Ail/Ele, in the case it was looking for a inv of one of the channels. Any ideal what I need to do?

Hi, it took a while but now I really discovered why the green LEDm doesn't come up when switching in an existing model setup from the 4in1 module to this NRF24L01 only module. The thing is that on some RTF models the 0 throttle point is at -65% throttle, so when a model is programmed and the thtrottle eays are optimized to work with +-65% the no throttle point isn't at -100% and the module will not arm, so that the LED doresn't become green. After changing that setting back to -100% for throttle low I could switch between the protocols and module ease.

I created a new model, after I reconfigured stick order to AETR green light went ON. I am switch off taranis and when moving sticks to e010 position and switch on and no green light again. -open tx- x9dp-v2.0.9.2 -yes

After switching on Taranis you will get a message in most cases, that you have to confirm by pushing a button, so switch on Taranis, wait for the message, move stick to e10 positions and push the button, now the LED should become green.

Hi Mika, I have used this module on QX7 and binds just fine with E010. The binding instruction sheet lists many models supported. I tried with my JJRC H20 hexacopter and it does not bid, not matter what I try. The module is on with green light and set to PPM and 1-12ch just like for the E010. My guess is the the binding instruction sheet may be wrong for this model. Any ideas on this one? Thanks

I can't get my e010 and Taranis to bind. i spend 5 hours last night trying to figure it out but nothing works. Did everything correctly watched many videos multiple times the quad just wont bind. I even removed the camera just to make sure that wasn't the problem. I get a blinking green light and then it turns solid like it has bound to something but the e010 lights keep flashing.Would be helpful if someone can make a video of Taranis sticks moving with the channels monitor on.

Brad Garland It's not a software limitation. It's a hardware limitation, so you still need an external TX like shown on the Video!

Well, right from the beginning ... I have NO Green LED lit when I power up Taranis. That is the 1st check to see if the unit is running. It is not .. the green LED is out .. dead ... NOT LIT. As for the stick positions and the AETR is selected. However, most importantly, the green LED does not light when I power up the Taranis. I've contacted Banggood and will see if they have any honor at all and will replace this dead unit.

I've got my module today too, cause I wanted a more decent module than my 4 in 1 module, so that nobody can see that there is something stucking in. 1. plugged in my Taranis -> no LED on; 2. moduke powered by an external PSU -> no LED on; 3. controlling my Taranis with 4in1 module -> Taranis is working fine with module 4. plug in this module -> create a new model with ppm setting from video -> GREEN LED IS ON!

I think the video is a little misleading, as this guy obviously already had installed the module and set up a model prior to making this video. Therefore, when he plugged in his module, the green LED started blinking almost immediately. Like you, I went through all the steps shown in the video, but I had no green LED when powering on. I went back through my setup and changed my INPUTS to AETR (and Flip on channel 6) and tried again. The LED did not come on immediately, but after 5-10 seconds, it did come on. I never waited that long before, because it appeared that the LED should come on immediately. Once the LED came on, I retried the stick settings on power up, and it now DOES control all my SYMA quads: X5, X8 & X11. So, sorry for the frustration in the previous posts ... it does now appear to be working. I want to take a model outside and check the range on it, but the control response is very much better than the normal Syma RC controllers.

Mein Problem ist das ich englisch nicht so gut verstehe und daher deutsche Erklärungen bevorzuge. Den Copter habe ich gebunden bekommen das ist nicht das Problem aber finde es allgemein Schade das deutsche User ihre Videos nur in englisch verfassen. Dabei geht es doch nur darum mehr Klicks zu bekommen.
