What is electrical stimulation?
It is one of a therapeutic intervention used to address pain and weakness of the body. This video shows a demonstration of one form of physical therapy intervention called electrotherapy- wherein the current coming from the machine is used to contract the muscles that mimics a body movement. This technique is commonly used for neurological conditions such as Stroke (cerebrovascular accident) or neuropathies.

Thank you po ma'am Louis I now know how to gain back my finger extension or release using my meditens black box I'm a stroke survivor I haven't gained back my release or fingers extension now I might be able to do it thanks to you

Very well explained sweet heart! My muscle knots are giving me lots of uncomfort and pain for the last 3 months. I have tried many therapy but its not working. Could you suggest how to cure it . Allah will bless you!

thank you. there are other manual therapy techniques that can help resolve muscle knots, but these needs help from a practitioner. Other way is to do self myofascial release using a massage ball and self stretching exercises.

Hello po, marami settings ung machine na nagagamit sa iba't-ibang condition. Pero depende po iyon sa problema na nararamdaman. Kung may masakit po sa likod, minsan ginagamitan ng stimulation para mabawasan ang pakiramdam ng sakit. Pero madalas po ay may kasamang mga exercise ang intervention para sa scoliosis.

Hello, I-set nyo po ung mode sa B (burst), rate- 100Hz, sa width usually 250, pero pwede nyo babaan to 200 kung hindi kaya. 10-30mins. Kapag nagstart po, unti-unti dagdagan yung intensity (knob sa taas) may pakiramdam parin po ng titibok tibok, pero dapat makita niyo na gagalaw yung muscle na pinagdikitan or ung mismong paa ang gumalaw. Kailangan niyo po kapain yun muscle sa legs. Dorsi- makababa sa tuhod, sa gilid ng buto. Sa eversion - galing sa ankle sa taas po nung nakabukol na buto katapat ng hinliliit, kapain nyo po yung muscle.

Safe naman po. Make sure lang na tama yung settings bago gamitin at saka nilalagyan po iyon ng wet cotton
