I got the cream as a sample with the new revolution foundation and omg! I used my normal day cream before and the foundation did not look that good, but after I removed everything, I gave the sample a chance and the foundation looked so flawless! I think I'll buy the big tube soon :)

Hey Evelyn! Yes - I have all these loose powder highlighters that I never use because they get all over my kit so I try to use them up with this cream and make shimmer lotions for legs and shoulders as well (even great for yourself if you are going out!) ✨

I absolutely love to put this product on not only before makeup, but before bed as well. It's wonderful for when I want to wake up to soft and hydrated skin. I have combination skin and it hydrates my dry patches without making me look super oily! I would definitely recommend this!

I just bought this product!! The smell is a dream - very soft and comforting. I use it as an overnight mask when I need some pampering, and as a day cream when I'm feeling dry. Works so nicely under makeup, and I only need a small amount. Two thumbs up!

I worked with embroylisse at IMATS so know a lot about their products! Amazing product, can be used as a primer too. The hydra mat is a really good product too for oily skin or to Matte down bald heads on set. They’re two must haves in my kit 👍

Thanks Toni! My skin is totally not as it appears - it is definitely the lighting and my L'oreal Pro Glow foundation. I'm actually very prone to breakout - if I even touch my face once during the day I will have a pimple there the next!!! I'm not acne prone but it is definitely not perfect!!! And because i'm so pale, everything shows through if I am not wearing foundation. I'm still trying to find the perfect combination of products for my skin so i'll keep you guys posted when I find something that works!

I’m not sure where you live and I think you are asking about buying RCMA for personal use - look at a site like Camera Ready Cosmetics where you can order foundation samples and they have shade breakdowns on the site as well. That may help keep costs down for you if you are considering purchasing this foundation.

My belief is to always work with what your client has. I don't worry about face shapes and trying to get a client's face to look a different shape. This goes with brows too - you often times have to work with what they have or it can look odd. I will definitely talk about this in some of my future videos!

Hey Dina! This is totally personal preference. I really like to use my hands because for me it is the only way for me to really make sure I work the product in, I have seen other MUA's use a brush or Beauty Blender but I usually use my hands for skin prep (unless my client has something gross on their face that I don't want to touch - then it's a disposable sponge!)

Just curious- I've seen some people mention it is more occlusive so it doesn't hydrate perse, but definitely creates a smooth base. I'm wondering if you can use it as an actual primer. Hydrate with moisturizer first and then use it to smooth out the skin like you would a traditional primer or do you think that would be a hot mess? I have dry/dehydrated skin. Thanks!!

Hey Meg! Great question, personally when I am dealing with clients - i'm not super concerned with their long term skin care. I like to have products that work quickly and work well under makeup. I am not a fan of primer at all and I would rather let a good moisturizer do the trick. Layering this moisturizer with another product may be challenging but again i've used it in combination with essential oils and I have also used this moisturizer with Fix+ from Mac - but these are techniques that I use on set and I don't know how they would transfer over to the real world and throughout the day.

I would recommend giving it a try on yourself to see if you like the texture and how it wears on the skin when mixed with foundation - the texture of skin food is not quite the same as Embryolisse.

Yes to dry skin. I don’t work with primer but Embryolisse will act similarly to primer to help smooth out foundation application.

I love this product for clients, but there was this one time I used it as a mask on myself and in that 10 minutes my skin got red and irritated :S but never had a bad experience using it on clients.

It works well under makeup! Basically the LCC is more of a primer/moisturizer in one - it just helps to hydrate and create a smooth barrier between the skin and makeup.

Hi! Unfortunately I’m not able to address these type of issues with makeup application like this online. There is not one simple solution to this type of issue, and it would be something I would have to see in person. I will be doing more application videos in the future so you may see a technique in future demonstrations that will help you with your own personal makeup application.

This product is a moisturizer that acts like a primer. I can’t comment on daily use of this product - I haven’t used it as a daily moisturizer myself personally, I’ve only used it as a moisture mask.

There are many brands of good eye creams on the market. Once you apply it give it a chance to sink in before applying the makeup.

You can use whatever sunscreen you like, I've used so many different ones and they have been fine. It's doesn't really act the same as a traditional silicone based primer - think of it more as something that helps the makeup apply more smoothly because it hydrates the skin enough to for the makeup to glide easily over the surface of the skin.

It's a great moisturizer and preps the skin well for makeup (so in that way it is a primer) if you are looking for something specifically that preforms like a primer (fills in pores etc.) you may need an additional product for this.

Hey Maria! This cream is not ideal for oily skin, I have used it in the past (in small amounts) on very oily skins and you just have to be careful because it may make your skin look shiny throughout the day. I would suggest something with a lighter texture that is made for oily skin to control some of the oil before foundation.

Amazing! Thanks Candie! I normally go with the fluid sunscreens over moisturizer if I am working with someone that will be outside for extended periods. The Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Liquid is one that I like to use, and there are great brands that have lighter textured sunscreens on the market now. But just a reminder after two hours you won't necessarily be able to re-apply so if you are outside for extended periods with no cover from the sun, you would need something in a spray form to lightly mist over the face and body for sun protection 😎
