It might be interesting to do some research into narcissistic family patterns and scapegoat children adults. Sometimes we sacrifice our authentic self so that we can belong.( I did) As we start to become ourselves the old system can fall away, then you can build new healthier more authentic relationships. They might not get it... but that's ok. You can bring in the light and visualise a new tribe / soul family. It may turn out to be completely new or it may be the old family renewed.
