if it doesnt work for you here's how i did it and it worked for me and my friends. First if you've done this before I do recommend reinstalling the modpack. Keep following the video's guide literally step-by-step with the addition that you should update KOTLIN. Afterwards if you launch the game it should show you an error that you don't have prominent-1.0.0 or something like that. Just copy-paste the downloaded prominent-global file AGAIN and put it back in your mods folder. Launch the game again and it should now work after that. This could work for you or not, this isn't a 100% sure solution... But hey it worked for me and my friends so there's that.

Thank you, when launching the game from CurseForge, the file basically deletes itself when loading up Minecraft, so by just pasting the file back into the mods folder, and then reloading Minecraft (when you close out of the error screen, it should take you back to the Minecraft launcher, do not load from CurseForge), everything loads up perfectly, but you may have to redownload the file if it got deleted.

It won't work for me for some reason, followed steps exactly and it just gives me an error saying the correct version of prominent doesn't exist, even though it is there in the files. It is named correctly and everything. Edit: When I delete the drippy mod, it deletes 2 mods instead of 1, like there's a dependence mod or something. This doesn't happen for you, or my friend who was doing this along with me and his works just fine, idk what its deleting but thats probably why the files are messed up. Edit again: Okay so its not just drippy, as soon as i remove any mod for the pack, it instantly freaks out and removes the "prominent" jar from the mods folder

it works for version 2.8.7 prominance 2 , can you modify the file again so the newest version of prominance can be played with essential mod ? Or at least tell us how you modified the Prominent-GLOBAL-MC1.20.1-2.1.0hf.rar File so we can modifie it ourselves

pin this: the mod has a tendency to self destruct itself for some reason when you drag it in to replace the other prominent folder. after you hit play and inevitably get the incompatible mods screen, check your mods folder again and drag in the tweaked prominent .jar file from this video. hope this helps

They may have updated the modpack but Im not home to check, any version from 2.8.3 to 2.8.7 should still work. If not 2.8.7, try 2.8.6 or below.

If any of you are having trouble the game Updated so make sure you download 2.8.7 version and it will fix all your issues. When it crashes the first time its for essential to update. Hope this helps>

You have to replace the Prominent mod with the tweaked version in the google drive link. All you need to do is download the file, convert rar to jar, and then drag that jar file into the mods folder. It'll ask you if you want to replace, click yes. After that it wont give you the pop-up anymore for needing Luna when you open the game.

Personally checked the source code, the tweaked .jar removed a singular line of code, it was "luna": "*" so yes it's safe

@@ScorchTide please stop recommending this. it's not needed at all. There is no reason to use essential for these packs. for LPS packs use the built in world sharing or port forward. For anything not from LPS just use e4mc or port forward.

@@ScorchTide It was the Exit Code 1 with 'incompatible mods' in the logfile. I went ahead and hosted a server personally for my buddies. It's actually relatively simple after opening the port. Just need the Java 17 SDK and to 'I agree' on the EULA prompt. Send IPv4 to buddy and bam, connected.
