It works with the latest versions of both essentials and modpack, also i did it without winRAR, only with windowss 11 integrated one: just change name of the .jar to .zip, edited the dang file then save to desktop or elsewhere, replace the original with the edited one into the zip and then rename the zip to .jar again and it worked 120%
