I've received many questions asking if I used fixative for my work. And the answer is YES! Here is the video showing how I do it. Thanks for watching!

I've experienced when i used fixative it changes the colour of the drawing. It turns darker and the lights disappear.

It sucks for my pan pastels and charcoals. Looks horrible

@@NME_REK did you find a spray fixative that does not ruin pan pastel work? I'm searching for one to use on mine.

Use the Krylon Fine Art fixatif. Blue can. Not the Workable Fixatif.

Thanks for this video. I didn't realise you can spray portrait and still retain the colour

success2013 Oil free holding hairspray works also, and it can be used on charcoal drawings.

It's good for working between areas so you don't smear other areas while you're working you can seal them but in the end it's not good to spray your final pastel work because it will darken the colors and it does not make it so you do not have to put it behind glass you will still have to put it by in glass there is no way around it pastels have to go behind glass

Very good explanation. Thank you! One question - what kind of camera do you use to video your youtube demonstrations? Thanks in advance!
