I made some of these flagging pipes. Love the hell out of them. I love the way it turns in the pipe. Catch went up 10 to 15%.

Hello good video quick question. On the properties I catch a lot of yotes primarily on large cattle ranches. But I will put in a cat set from time to time if I see tracks but cats come to my set and tend to work it from the rear. So i put a trap at the back of my covey still no luck whats the best way to block in my set on a open fence row?

I put a heavy split shot 8" - 10" above the flags.

I’d only add that a fishing swivel to this flag system would help it rotate in the wind. Great video👍👍

Do you put it in front of the trap or back and how far? I've got cat tracks at my area and would sure love to catch one. Thanks for the video's.

I'll usually put it with in a foot or two of the set so they see or smell the set when they have approached the location

in PA we cannot use any animal products visible from the air, like your feather. i use a 8-inch strip of brown canvas with a small piece of white cloth at the end, hanging with a can lid from string

I also use CDs cut down, what I was just trying to show was the setup then people use what's legal where your at

@@DunlapLures-SheTraps got it and thank you for doing your video. usually an overhanging branch is what we tie off to. we trap in the northcentral mountains of PA. no dirt to speak of, mostly rock and deciduous leaves that like to blow around at night and clog up sets. 95% of the trapping videos are west/midwest - nice level ground, nice fine dirt, etc. We fight for every decent trap bed we can make here
