What can be done if the canisters leak when installing the fuel? I put the can in and it starts to spray liquid fuel all over my hands and won’t seal. I have two units and they both do it. The seal is new.

It’s a real flame, the canister in this video contains butane, and the flame machine’s casing becomes incredibly hot to the touch. I honestly can’t recommend it at all, I had 2 and returned them after testing them out. They feel far too cheap to be outputting a solid flame that can burn whatever it touches, and also, think about using it outdoors when there’s wind, it’s even more unsafe. I recommend buying a cold spark machine instead, while those aren’t allowed in every venue, you can use them well outdoors so long as it’s not around anything flammable. When you use it, the titanium based cold spark powder is heated to over 100 degrees. The high level of heat is what transforms the gray titanium powder into more of a gold fireworks appearance. The powder then cools down to 60 degrees, and then within 3 mins from turning the cold spark machine on, it’s ready to go. The cold sparks come out of the machine at 55-65 degree temperatures. This is why you can touch it. The thing is, plastics, such as artificial plants and table tops, or faux leathers, are all highly flammable from temperatures as low as 10 degrees. If the 55-65 degree cold titanium sparks come down and they fall on an artificial plant, it’ll burn it instantly. So when I use it at a wedding, I keep it a fair distance away from the bride and groom, electronics, DJ gear, facades, and artificial plants. This allows the photographer to get a nice wide shot with cold sparks and dancing on cloud effects.
