How to Use Game Controllers to Play Tesla Arcade Games - Beach Buggy Race, Sonic, Sega Games & More

All Teslas come with something called "Arcade" which includes lots of fun games to play while waiting to supercharge, on a ferry or anytime! In this video we show you how to use the games and how to use actual game controllers to play them! We used PlayStation controllers in our 2021 Tesla Model Y! This no longer works in 2023 models. You have to plug into the port in the glove box.

Why not get a long USB-C to Micro USB cord to avoid the adapter? Was it because you had the USB-A cord already.

Unfortunately, no controllers can connect wirelessly to the Tesla right now. There are wireless controller adapters that plug in to the Tesla (the linked one below comes with a USB-C adapter) and these translate the controller's wireless signals for the car. We actually like plugging the controllers so we don't have to worry about the controllers being charged or in the case of Xbox controllers, requiring batteries. How much battery would it drain if you play for an hour straight?

Great question! Assuming the HVAC system is off, it should be pretty consistent with having sentry mode enabled (which is about 7% a day or 0.3% per hour) because sentry mode also requires the car's computer system to be active. When we took a 45 min ferry ride we didn't notice any material drop in battery and we had the interior climate set to auto. Thanks so much for subscribing and supporting the channel!
