How To Use Garmin Tread - Routes

Why would I pick a tread over say a Montana 750i?

Hi! I‘m looking for an overland navigation device. As the garmin overlander is a bit old i thought the tread series would be something. This tread device is sold as an powersport device. Is it still possible to use it as an overlanding device? (I want to save some money, as the overlanding treads are more expensive). Thanks!

Does your device work correctly if you have created a round trip and deviate from the intended route? I get an error message that the route can no longer be calculated.

I have not run into that issue specifically but a similar issue where you want to jump on an existing route and it would not snap but insisted you go back to start.

Looks Very slow and the map is loading every time… Garmin is not in 2023/2024 I think
