Garmin Tread GPS Navigator - SxS Edition

I have had the Garmin Tread larger side-by-side unit for nine months now and have to say it is a awesome unit. I have had more East Coast trails on my Garmin then my friend had on his Polaris ride command. Plus now they have a back up camera for the larger tread side-by-side. If you ride far away from any medical help then the Inreach subscription is a no-brainer.

Do I have to have the group ride radio feature to have the group ride tracking ?

Need a video of headset connectivity. Cardo? Sena? Can it PTT? PDF says yes but nobody seems to do it

How do you group ride with others who do not have a Garmin. I can't see the other riders.

For a rider to be in your group ride, they also need to be using a Garmin device with the Group Ride feature.

@@rebeccaStanke I spoke to Garmin about this and I believe they need the Tread also. Another reason I did not purchase the SXS model is unless your friends purchase same unit, its not usuable

Sorry but this review is not correct. The base 8” tread does NOT come with radio mike and radio compatibility. You must purchase the Tread SXS model which is $399 more. Rocky Mountain usually does great reviews, but this one has many errors in the capabilities of this unit. Still a great product but do your homework

Yes, there is a base model, but we are referring to the powersports line which we carry. All the powersports line have the radio function. We do not carry the ones without radio functionality.
