I've been making and selling GIMX adapters for 2 years now 🙂

Do you have a website?

@@CorporateZombi Yes but KZbin will delete my comment if I share any link. However you never know, ButlerPC and then after that a dot and a NET.

Just bought one of your GIMX adapters. Thank you for making them.

I have one of those budget handbrakes from china, they are simply hall sensors plugged in a arduino leonardo board. I will try using gimx to make it compatible with my PS5 by mapping the input to the controller R analog or the O button. Thanks for introducing me to this!

Really appreciate this video. I had tried this set up a year ago but had no FFB in my Accuforce. I am going to try again, there are several steps I think I messed up.

You're welcome! I make these partially to remind me what I did to make it work!

I'm stumped. I have a Pro Micro Atmega32u4 with IZOKEE CP2102 Module USB to TTL 5PIN Serial Converter Adapter Module Downloader for UART STC 3.3V and 5V, wired everything correctly but cannot get Device Manager, Gimx software or Arduino IDE or Builder to recognize it. I've tried different USB ports but no luck.

@@jonwebster2624 Did you look at my 10 short videos on building the adapter? They are in the pinned comment. I had issues at the start because I mistakenly connected Rx to Rx and Tx to Tx instead of Rx to Tx.

Is it possible to use it to connect contorller to both xbox and PC so that both read the controller input at the same time? OR maybe anyone could recommend any solutions which can achieve that?

Hi, i have everything all mapped out steering wheel using simucube 2 pro and all my accessories. As soon as i click start on the gimx the ffb cuts off and no forcefeeback in game.

Hi, what does it say on the drivehub when you start the gimx. Does it display g 2 7 0? On the little display? Have you got the gimx flashed to emug27? Have you started the playstation using the power button on the playstation? Have you tried closing and restarting gran turismo? Because force feedback is lost if gt7 is woken from ps5 rest mode.

Can you say "Drive Hub...?
@CorporateZombi Жыл бұрын
Yep @ 27:00 ! This is so you can use direct drive wheels and pedal combinations not supported by the drive hub. Like the simxperience accuforce, and protosimtech PT 1 pedals The GIMX adaptor spoofs your pc direct drive wheel and pedals as something like a Logitech g27. On the drivehub, so you can use it with the PS5 and Gran Turismo 7 (with ffb) So wheel and pedals > pc > GIMX > drivehub > PS5. I have another video where I use all this and also pick up the telemetry from GT7 to get a motion simulator working.

Drive Hub doesn't support everything by itself, like my Fanatec CSL Elite V2 pedals. Trying to use my T300 RS wheel base and Fanatec pedals on PS 5 with just Drive Hub is a no go. Collective Minds also don't seem to want to upgrade the Drive Hub either.

thanks this stuff is usefull. Ill try this with my moza
@dante316a Жыл бұрын
I was able to make my moza r9 work with ffb on my ps4 without needing drivehub but i did needed to make a .reg file that i copied from gimx forum, do you know if there is some harm on using those .reg files?
@CorporateZombi Жыл бұрын
Cool! I really don't know about the .reg file. Does it stay connected? How does it spoof the playstation into thinking it is an official controller? Or Is the Moza wheel just compatible with playstation?
@dante316a Жыл бұрын
@@CorporateZombi no moza is not compatible with consoles by itself, on ps4 you connect a ds4 official controller to the computer, and you dont need drive hub for ffb there, but for ffb i do need to make that weird reg file and run it on my computer, its just a text file done with note pad and then i change the extension to .reg and then just click on it to run it. i ve been testing and on my computer side its working normally without issues on ps4 its ok but getting some oscilations on ffb and well yeah ive got some random disconnects but i read somewhere that it could be because the serial converter is a cp2102 and that doesnt have a high enough transmision rate, i bought a cp2104 to see if it works better
