for mealy bugs use alchohol..alchohol destroys the white greasy layer on the bugs..then you apply ginger solution or neem oil spray it will work..without removing the greasy white layer no solution will work on mealy bugs...because that layer protects bugs from pesticide solution. for making alchohol at home- soak cooked rice in water for 4 to 5 days..then after fermentation alchohol and carbondioxide will form...carbon dioxide escapes as gas..and remining water is nothing but diluted alchohol... remove water and spray on mealybugs..

Try using copper dipped in buttermilk which by reaction creates copper sulfate and makes solution greenish blue. And spray on leaves should help resolve the issue.
