This was enjoyable. Gmail took away a feature that I used all the time. There was a time where you could hover over an address and with one click you could search all emails from that address. Now you need to hover, click on copy email..then carry that email to the search box. That one change seemed minor but it devastated my work flow.

Yes, I miss that feature as well. However, the 'Open detailed view' button (in the same dialog that pops up), can be helpful for the most recent messages.

@@Simpletivity tHank you.....but just not the same......ahh the good ol days of yesteryear. That feature was the best for organizing and tracking emails form different people. I could quickly pull up past conversations and refresh my memory as to what job details we spoke about. Now doing a search takes long enough to dampen one's focus. (...and I think they took away my Labels tab today......I'm still looking into that now).

I set too much and probably clone filters and wasn't working properly. I had to clean up some. However after i did clean and set everything working, this FORUM category appeared activated where all incoming message are automatically classified. And i cant find a way to turn off the auto forum category thing. Got any idea to fix it? Scott your tutorials are gold because literally save you a lot of time. Thank you

Happy to help! In your Gmail Settings, go to the Inbox tab. Here you can uncheck the Forums category. More details here: support.google.com/mail/answer/3094499?hl=en&visit_id=638548361273880329-3232448316&p=inboxtabs&rd=2
