I’ve been doing some research on these apps. For ideas and formal learning I like Obsidian because of simplicity, robustness and privacy, also works surprisingly well with Apple Pencil. For free flowing note taking I am looking at Notability, easy to use and nice templates, and Element note, good for those who like pretty notes. Notion promises to be great for productivity but feels like it is desktop first, note taking with Apple Pencil did not feel natural. Canva didn’t do it for me. Poor iPad support and not for productivity.

Just a tip I found valuable to improve search in Trello. The text in the card description(the back of a card) of a Trello card is not searchable. So, When I need the structure of trello and the better search option of Google Keep, I keep my notes as the card title ( the front of the card) in trello and not as card description. That way when I type the keyword in search, the entire card comes up like a Google Keep note. However the card size becomes too large if it has a lot of text; and of course there's no OCR for images in Trello.

The problem with Google Tasks is that there is no view to see all tasks that are due in different lists.

Hey Scott, I am trying to share a Google Workspace calendar with our group. It only shows one option, "See only free/busy". Is there a work around for the other view "see all event details"? Also, what about the other calendars? Do I have to share each of them as well?

I've been using Keep for *years*, and it's not even covered in this video (at least not so far at 8 minutes in at least, it's probably covered in another video if not later in this one though), but this video sparked my brain to finally go "wait, does Google Keep have keyboard commands? And if so, do I just press '?' to access them?". Well, I pressed '?', and-sure enough-it did give a keyboard shortcut popup, and there's a bunch in there that would have helped me so much all of these years 🤦‍♀ Better late than never, I guess, lol. My forever-wish for Keep is more levels of nested items. One level of nesting just isn't enough, it's such a tease of how much better it could be. From there my brain goes into feature-creep mode wishing that you could also this thing and that thing... but honestly, more levels of nesting and I'd be happy lol. (Built-in mind mapping would be amazing too lol.)

I have a question, hopefully you can help me. I made a form and attached a spreadsheet for the answers. Because there are house numbers in the answers, I would like to have the house numbers automatically sorted from low to high when a new answer is added. Of course, all other answers must "go along" if they change places. It is important that if I execute that command in the spreadsheet, it is saved and it goes automatically from that moment on. It is not the intention to always do this manually with every answer. How do I do that?

Thank you! I have a Group question. In Google Groups, our members that are external to our domain show up with their email address in the Member Name column. Sometimes the email address is cryptic and does not reflect that person's name. Is there any way to add a data column where we can put the person's actual name into the group?

7 years later, we have planner apps. So it's solving the problem you're talking about at 2:30. So have you started using a Planner app in addition to Calendar and Task Manager or are you still scheduling your tasks on a calendar?

We have 15 minute one on one appts. We want only two slots every 15 minutes however we have 3 appt types. Those two slots could be all one appt type or two different appt types. Additionally, the appt types need to have different limits. How do I set this up?
