Very helpful video thank you! How do I link notifications to my band? I saw your one has fb notifications and I can't find that option :) I also don't have a Huawei phone

Open the Huawei Health app, tap on Devices at the bottom of the page, tap on the device to go to the device’s dashboard, find and click on notifications then enable notifications for your preferred apps

How can I enable call notification because app preference doesn't show call apps and want to change weather from fahrenheit to celsius. The watch shows the weather in Fahrenheit and my phone shows the weather in Celsius.

You can enable call notifications by granting permissions to access call logs to the Huawei Health app. Check the permissions and enable access to call logs. Secondly, if you want to change the unit for weather, open the Huawei Health app, tap on devices, select the Huawei Band 6, locate weather from the list and choose your preferred unit.

How do i have to put music on it? Bc mine doesn’t have music on it

You can't add music to the Huawei Band 6 because it doesn't have enough memory for that. You can only control music playing on your phone.

It doesn't have a speaker or microphone, so you can't make calls from it. You will get notified when there’s an incoming call. Note that phone must be nearby and you need to enable call notifications from the Huawei Health app

Is it just me or does this watch not track calories unless you set a workout? Fitbit tasks all day and night, this Huawei doesn't

I think it tracks all day calories. This can be viewed from the Activity records app.

@@SMARTWATCHSERIES thanks for replying I'm afraid not. The calories for each exercise are logged and visible, but there is little or no calorie logging when an activity isn't selected. For example, if I went on a 10 mile run and I didn't set the watch to track the run, but still wore it during the run, I would see the calorie count on the watch read zero. It wouldn't even show on the app (most recent, updated via Huawei's own store). My Fitbit (I hate fitbit and am done with them) tracks calories constantly

I just switched from fitbit to this huwaii band 6...it doesn't track calories like my fitbit ..this is so heartbreaking

@@alpnaahuja229 and honestly these review channels on KZbin are just pushing a free product. (At least this reviewer took the time to respond though, even if it was untrue). I'll review it here briefly. Good low profile, doesn't slip around the wrist like Charge 4 does, and is well priced. It's physical design is much, much better than fitbit. But it DOES NOT TRACK CALORIES WHILE OUT OF WORKOUT MODE. Software is also incomplete, and the metrics over time are poorly laid out and nowhere near as good as fitbit.
