This has advanced my knowledge of Python at least 2 times - thanks! How would it be written if there are 3 fields invloved: - if A = a condition, then multiply B by a constant to generate C?

I'm happy that it helped. Sorry for the delay. you need to introduce b when you are defining the function. for example: def test(a, b): if a == 'Australia' or b == 1: return 5 else: return 0 and in the bottom window: test( !Country_Re! , !OBJECTID! )
