I have some old blocks which no longer have the white coating on the image. Shou.d I restore these before use, and if so, how?

Hello, the white paint is applied by the carvers so it allows us to see the design clearly. It is perfectly normal for the white paint to peel away and is nothing to be concerned about. There is no need to re apply the white paint, that is unless you wish to do so :)
