This was a great tutorial video. One thing to note for new viewers, Inkstitch goes from the bottom to the top in order of the layers.

Is there a rough guideline for what size you should be using a fill, a satin, and a stroke pattern for? My first digitized designs i believe i had used fill for everything and they turned out like crap.
@anobesecat79072 жыл бұрын
Hi! I would say 3/8th to 1/2 of an inch is the widest your satins stitches should ever be unless your working on puff embroidery.
@anobesecat79072 жыл бұрын
And I would generally try staying away from fills if I’m working on something smaller than 1/2 an inch

@strawb3rrysparkl3z56 ай бұрын
Hey if you still need this I just figured it out ↓ All you need to is go into the Fill and stroke section and select the X option there. For it to convert it needs to only be an outline. :) Hopefully this helps.

Im very confused about how you created the layers. Did the program automatically create the layers for you or did you go in and draw each layer? I'm not sure how to get the layers to appear the way yours do
@anobesecat79072 жыл бұрын
Hi I created those layers manually. If you don’t have the tab open you can go to the top where it says layer ->click “layers…” that will open the layer tab on your right.
@RixtronixLAB2 жыл бұрын
Keep it up, thanks :)

very confused. My program looks a bit different. when I go to layers the only option is "layers and objects" and when I click that it looks nothing like yours. I've clicked add layers but that doesn't do anything that looks like yours. also, can't import a regular image it has to be svg format

How do you set the density for the fill stitches?

You can adjust the density in Params under the auto fill tab- spacing between rows. Also added a link in my bio to blog explaining it

Hello. Great video. How do I change the stitch-length? is that in inksticth or in the embroidery-machine? For instance the stitch length is 1mm or 3mm long. Thanks

what does the satin lines mean? like details in the design or?
@anobesecat79072 жыл бұрын
Usually you use a satin stitch for smaller details or thin lines. For example the outline on most patches is a satin stitch. Satin stitches are stitched In parallel ladder like lines that that give it a satin like shine Hope that helped you understand
