How to use iPhone Notes for Daily Reminders

Learn this super cool and mostly unknown feature on your iPhone right in the Notes app. Create a to-do list but use the trick I show you to keep it front and center so you have a visual reminder all day long to get your stuff done!
In this video I mention two of my favorite project management apps and how I use them differently.

great tip. I also use the reminder app to verbalize commands for a list and get reminded of important events.

Yes me too! I love using my reminders when I'm on the go and need to just give myself that quick reminder. I also use my Alexa for my shopping list. I just love lists!

i have lots and lots of notes that i saved in my iphone x .. the problem is that i search for a note in my iphone x but it doesn't appear in the search bar though it is really exists in notes .... can you tell me why ?? after the last update i found all my notes on my icloud ..i need to copy them all on my iphone .. hope i can finde the answers here specially concerning the search for a note ..

Great tip. That's exactly what I need, something that I see each time I turn on the phone as that in itself will remind me I have a to do list that needs doing. I've had my phone for a few years now and had no idea.

simple but good. very effective. u may not have to check off and do a another screenshot. the fact that u see the list is a good motivator also

_ABOUT NOTES_ Same as iPad NOTES...I hope...I use mine especially for KZbin videos that are relevant to my life. Also other matters I want to keep because I have to repeat the same message over & over in different areas. Like this particular comment here that I might want to repeat in another video pertaining to this subject....Or in another case for an add that I might want to put up in different news papers. I always make some sort of copy of what I write or do on my devices... Especially if it’s a particular recipe or a particular technique of some kind. Then delete the useless stuff after a while😉.... I click _SHARE_ for YT...go to notes & click on that... then a small page appears to show in an icon that the video is noted... You see just on top... _ADD A TEXT_ for that, I usually have beforehand _COPIED_ my comment for the video or my reply to a comment that I Paste in _Add a Text_ When I go to notes, it’s right there in my folder on the left side...I can rewatch or show to others... I know instantly what it’s about because of text... This is better than adding to YT playlist, because you don’t have to open KZbin & go through a dozen titles in the list. Saving a few steps here. I sometimes copy eMails to NOTES for relevance. So I can _delete_ once the mail is transferred to NOTES ...I put those in a folder I call _FOR MY EYES ONLY_ that I put in _CLOUD_ with password. When I shop Amazon, I copy the shopping bill in SHOPPING BILLS folder in NOTES also.... I Always go to Notes, it is so convenient that you become compelled to put everything in there because it becomes my MEMORY ....And you can create folders for all kinds of topics.... For example I have a folder for a few favorite music compilation videos from KZbin. Like at this time it’s 50’s & 60’s Christmas 🎄☃️ compilation, you know, the ones that last about 2 hours.... for while I do my shores...no need to go to KZbin. It automatically takes you to the particular clip🤗... JUST A SIMPLE _COPY + PASTE_ _NOTES IS MY GO TO REFERENCE_ Been doing this for almost a year now & I love it 😉👌.... I hope it’s the same for all phones...🤔 ....Happy Holidays...🙋🏼‍♀️🤗

@@MelanieDyann have found how you can add your notes (with checkboxes, images and so on) to apple reminders - simply right click on some text in the note, select share, select reminders and add to a reminder - it will populate your selected reminders with a small notes icon. This way you add dates to your reminder which is linked to your check list note - very cool - please do a video. K

Seems like a lot of work to get Apple Notes to fit. Use Wunderlist, todo or even reminders. IMO, this is not the greatest advice when there are better ways to accomplish this.

Hey Scott...I think there are SOOO many great ways to keep track of ToDo's and notes. Personally, I use Trello, Asana, Evernote, and even Alexa. I find that Notes is an alternative and I simply wanted to share a way to use it...especially the idea to make it your phone lock screen image so you're constantly prompted to see your "list." But I agree that there are a lot of great options...this is just one and a great solution for people already using Notes. But hey, thanks for watching!
